Did the disciples believe in a physical resurrection?

With so many church sermons and printed articles this week (and the past) concerning the resurrection, I thought I might point some open-minded people who happen to stumble upon this blog to a contrary but very clear-headed review of the resurrection. Did the resurrection really happen? That is the topic of the following lecture by the historian Richard Carrier.
